Strong for the future

Knowledge is bread for the spirit – it needs to be fed constantly. The BayWa Foundation has therefore made it its mission to promote knowledge in order to shape the future.

School sponsorship

A whole school as a godchild – the BayWa Foundation shows how this is done with its school sponsorship at the Special Needs Educational Centre in Munich (SFZ). Since 2011, it has been supporting the school with additional activities for the students. As a useful addition to the curriculum, it promotes the individual development of students with learning and speech difficulties and social and emotional Problems.

Tillmann's children and youth home

The Tillmann’s children and youth home in Munich is a new home for children and adolescents who have had a difficult life. These children need special care and support for their development. This is why the BayWa Foundation has been helping with educational and experience projects, such as tutoring, ski courses, rafting or Christmas activities, since 2011.

Germany Scholarship

The BayWa Foundation has been committed to the Germany Scholarship programme since it started in 2011. It currently awards 100 scholarships per year to students of the Technical University of Munich, the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, the University of Hohenheim and the Nürtingen-Geislingen University. The scholarship enables young talents to become involved in society and build a network.

Campus for Change

The BayWa Foundation supports Campus for Change. The Munich-based student initiative is committed to social projects worldwide and at the same time offers students a creative platform to realise projects and to make a difference together.

Vocational training in Zambia

The SOS Vocational Training Centre in Lusaka provides young mothers in need with one year's vocational training. Their children are professionally cared for both during - and after - their training period. This enables them to build a professional future.

Integration for refugees

Refugees seeking refuge in our country must be helped through integrative measures. For this reason, the BayWa Foundation supported various educational activities for a successful integration of the refugee.
