Supporting students with the Germany Scholarship

As a sponsor of science and research, the BayWa Foundation has been committed to an open dialogue between industry and science since its foundation. In 2011, the scholarship programme "Deutschlandstipendium", which was set up by the German government and which the BayWa Foundation has supported from the very start, was launched.

220 students from green courses of study such as agricultural sciences, nutritional sciences, renewable energies and many more are supported by the BayWa Foundation together with the German government with a monthly grant of 300 euros. This enables the scholarship holders to concentrate better on their studies. In addition, the BayWa Foundation offers networking opportunities: Once a year the Foundation organises a scholarship holders' day where students get to know the BayWa AG, the BayWa Foundation and its fellow scholarship holders. This network can open doors for them in their professional future.
