Tillmann's Children House
The Tillmann Children's and Youth House has been offering a place of refuge to children from insecure family backgrounds since 1994.
The BayWa Foundation supports the Tillmann Children's and Youth House with projects to promote social competence and education. With various activities such as curative horseback riding, ski courses, language courses and tutoring, the children are supported in their personal development and their ability to communicate and their tolerance of frustration are strengthened. Sports events and – especially at Christmas time – joint baking and handicraft days bring culture and community closer to the children and young people.
As part of the project "Planting vegetables. Harvesting Health", the Tillmann Children's and Youth Hoouse also received a vegetable garden. There, the children and young people can plant and harvest vegetables together and process their own produce into delicious and healthy dishes.
